Darkchylde (test footage)

OH MY! It’s my second dream come true! The Darkchylde movie might actually take off.  OK I’ll take a step back for all of you who may not know what the hell I’m talking about.

Randy Queen, my all time favorite comic artist and the creative mind behind the story of Darkchylde. Randy captured my imagination and many others in the mid nineties with some amazingly beautiful art and some fantastic storytelling of the beautiful, yet tragic life of Ariel.  I could go on and on about how I would wait and wait ( always patiently by the way) for Randy to finish up his work and send it out to us all.  The story was always gripping and the art so spectacular that I would always buy 2 and read one and bag the other.  Yes everyone Justin was and always will be a fan boy.  Get over it!

Now if you think that this is just another comic book inspired movie, please stop! I don’t think that you can judge it that way.  True, Randy is a comic creator, but the stories this guy can tell, the way he can bring ideas and feeling to the page should put him in a league of his own, not to mention it could be one of the best Horror flicks ever.  I’ve always felt that Randy has stayed very true to his work, he puts his all in to every bit of the story and art, and it looks like the special effects guys are up to the task. To be able to see this come to the big screen is a dream come true for a lot of us. It goes to show you all good things come to those who wait.

You can be sure that I’ll be keeping a close eye on the progress, and I’ll even mail my ticket money now if it will help finance it!
