Ghostbusters 2
Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters 2 held the test of time for me, finished watching it for the second time this weekend. Now I will agree with most of you out there that the second one is not as good as the first but still very enjoyable even after 21 years.
Shocking isn't it......
The boys are all back, and get back together and chase a river of slime to Vego otherwise know as The Scarpath of Carpathia. It is pretty much a retread of the first film, all hell breaks loose and only the Ghostbusters can save the day. I’m really OK with that though as the first one was so good, they could have retread it all the way to Ghostbusters 14 and I would have watched all of them. Although I’m not sure how they could top the Statue of Liberty walking down the street of New York City, I mean really, how could you top that?
I said I would play Vego! NOT change diapers.
I could go on forever and ever, but I would really just rather go back and finish special features on my Ghostbusters 2 disc, including the Animated Series. I tell you I feel 12 all over again.
Do you think any of these guys have this hanging in their house?
What was your favorite part of the Ghostbusters series? Did you like 1 or 2 better? and since they have been talking about part 3, would you rather see them out of retirement saving the day, or training a new set of Ghostbusters to try to jump start the franchise. Man I know one thing if they do put out part 3 the special effects should be great! Maybe they could cast Taps as the new Ghostbusters…… just kidding.
