Let’s forget for a moment that Diane Lane and Sam Jackson are completely wasted in this film, (but Michael Rooker is pretty decent in his 3 minutes on screen).
Let us also forget what a terrible actor Hayden Christensen is.
Let’s forget the fact that the reason behind Sam chasing our lead jumper Hayden is never really explained to us aside from ‘only god should have this power’.
Let us also forget that within the first 2 minutes of the movie, during our lead jumper’s narrative, that he tells us that we, the viewer, are ‘chumps’.
Let’s even forget that there really is no story, (the writers did, why can’t we?).
In fact, let’s just forget this movie entirely.
